CQC Inspection Report
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care, and encourage care services to improve.
The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate health and social care services and publish their findings, including ratings, to help people choose where they get their care.
The CQC are looking to determine if care providers are:
- Safe
- Effective
- Caring
- Responsive
- Well led
The CQC produces a detailed report on their findings and gives each inspected care provider one of 4 overall ratings:
- Outstanding
- Good
- Requires improvement
- Inadequate
